Four out of eight Wednesday’s matches have clear favorites. Not so, of course, as in yesterday’s meeting between Ronnie O’Sullivan and Michael Holt or Neil Robertson with Peter Ebdon. Here, two undisputed leaders have lost. Something like this may happen again.
And yet, in the confrontation between Stuart Bingham and David Gilbert, I assume the victory of Stewart. He won all four face-to-face meetings and has a much higher rating. But most importantly, Bingham is working hard to get back in shape. Glimpses of the championship game were already visible. Five weeks before the World Cup, it’s time to get in shape. Gilbert is not so simple. Somehow, imperceptibly, he reached the 20th line in the world ranking.
Marco Fu has a higher class than his Thai rival Chepchaya Un-Nu. There is no doubt about it. After failing at the Masters due to illness, Mark was not just getting into shape. He’s fine now. I’m counting on him.
Mark Selby met Tom Ford twice and won both times. I have no doubt that the third personal meeting will end in victory.
Kyren Wilson has a great season. His victory in Shanghai does not look accidental at all. Kairen plays solidly and stubbornly continues to fight for getting into the TOP-16, and this goal is very close.
As for the other four meetings, there is no certainty about Trump’s victory over Williams. Mark always plays in Wales with special enthusiasm, striving to please his fellow countrymen. With Judd he has a good experience of personal meetings – 4: 5.
Sean Murphy with his overly aggressive style of play can lose an extra frame, or even two very difficult Michael White, who is trying to stay in 16th position in the ranking. The score of personal meetings 2: 1 in favor of Sean.
Carter and Bressel, in my opinion, have an equal chance of success, as does Dotto from Wenbo.
Express trains are not always good, but now I rely on them.
If you agree with Vladimir Sinitsyn, do on his forecast.
